Duties

The incumbent serves as an office manager for the United States Aviation and Missile Command Egypt Liaison Office (AMELO) and Assistant for the Chief of AMELO. The incumbent has authority on all matters of managerial, financial and administrative nature. He/She provides administrative assistance to all AMELO staff members and financial advice and recommendation to AMELO Officers for future planning purposes. He/She is responsible for planning, implementation, budgeting, financial motoring, reporting and evaluation of AMELO programs. He/She provides supervision of the office Janitor and management guidance for two Chauffeurs.


Qualifications and Evaluations

Requirements:

EXPERIENCE:  Four years progressively responsible administrative experience and two years progressively responsible financial experience.



JOB KNOWLEDGE:  Extensive knowledge of administrative concepts and policies.


Education Requirements:

Education: Completion of secondary school is required.


Evaluations:

LANGUAGE:  (Fluent) speaking/reading/writing of English is required. (this will be tested).



(Fluent) speaking/reading/writing of Arabic is required.



SKILLS AND ABILITIES : Must be able to act independently with minimal supervision.

Agency Benefits:

Locally Employed Staff, including Members of Household (MOHs), and Third-Country Nationals (TCNs), working at the U.S. Mission in Cairo, Egypt may receive a compensation package that may include health, separation, and other benefits.



For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office.



The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
