We are seeking an experienced Senior Contract Engineer with 9–12 years of experience to oversee and administer contracts across all projects. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance, manage risks, support claim resolution procedures, and maintain strong client and departmental relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer ongoing contracts and monitor contract compliance for all projects.
Maintain effective communication with clients; control and monitor client correspondence, data, and reports.
Ensure contract administration aligns with project requirements.
Manage risk assessments and provide strategic support for claim resolution procedures.
Conduct regular meetings with clients, contractors, and partners to resolve disputes amicably in line with contract conditions.
Prepare statements of claims and defenses, ensuring timely and successful submission.
Develop contract synopses to raise awareness among project teams.
Interact with different departments and maintain healthy working relationships.
Develop and maintain systems and processes related to contract administration and reporting.
Supervise all contracts/claims administration activities in line with company policies.
Review contract drafts and project-specific agreements to protect company interests.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
9–12 years of work experience in contract administration or related roles.
Certification in Contractual and Legal Aspects of the Construction Industry (CLAC) or higher.
Strong commercial knowledge; MBA is an advantage.
Familiarity with single or multi-disciplinary construction/engineering operations.
Knowledge of project management theory; PMP or equivalent preferred.
Familiar with the Egyptian Civil Code, Administrative Law 182/2018, and general features of laws of England & Wales.
Skilled in legal drafting techniques.
Fluent in English and French (written and spoken).
