We are seeking a Regional Office Operations Manager to join our team in Cairo, Egypt.
The Regional Workplace Operations Manager for North Africa ensures productive and engaging offices that support innovation and collaboration. The position partners with all levels of management to understand business objectives and identify corresponding needs. The position will manage 4-6 operations employees at various offices.
Main Responsibilities
Plan, communicate, coordinate, and implement global employee engagement program initiatives at local office.
Work with local management or business leadership (including VP if local); and adapt initiatives to local needs.
Ensuring that facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards.
Serves as primary liaison with local government agencies and entities with regard to the company’s operations.
Measure employees' engagement and satisfaction.
Track budget, raise shopping carts, submit good receipts, and approve invoices related to office operation and engagement activities.
Advising on measures to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the office – within area of responsibility.
Managing staff across different locations in Cairo, Tunisia, and Morocco.
Partner with Siemens Real Estate and local vendors to ensure that basic/critical facilities are well-maintained and ensure a productive and engaging working environment.
Dealing with emergencies as they arise, investigate the case to find root cause and put short/ long term solutions to resolve and prevent the problem from happening again.
Implementing Siemens EHS requirements and documents.
Managing Facilities budget.
Implement DI SW security strategy across North Africa in partnership with Siemens Real Estate.
Manage Administrative Assistants.
Manage logistics (imported/exported shipments) to meet the Free zone area laws/rules.
Required skills, knowledge and experience
Bachelor degree in Electric or Mechanical Engineering is a plus.
+4 years of experience.
Preferrably 2 years of experience in managing building systems.
Excellent Project Management, Negotiation and Leadership skills.
Willing to travel to other offices in the EMEA region up to 5 trips per year.
Highly developed communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and share your knowledge with others.
