Administrative Clerk
Duties
The incumbent serves as the assistant to the Motor Pool Supervisor in all administrative matters concerning Motor Pool operations. S/he is responsible for organizing, prioritizing, and completing all administrative tasks for the Motor Pool, including the creation and analysis of a variety of factual and statistical reports and documents; creation and maintenance of various computer applications to satisfy Motor Pool's changing needs, and drafting or translation of varied correspondence alongside documents.
Qualifications and Evaluations
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: Two years of experience in clerical and administrative work, general accounting, and experience working with different computer software is required.
JOB KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of Motor Pool functions, procedures, and practices. Familiarity with vouchering and accounting procedures is required.
Education Requirements:
Completion of secondary school is required.
Evaluations:
LANGUAGE:
Good working knowledge in speaking, reading, and writing English is required.
Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing Arabic is required.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to create and analyze a variety of statistical reports based on facts as well as being able to compare and contrast data, discover flaws, and develop conclusions. Skills with Microsoft Office are essential (this will be tested).
