The World Health Organization (WHO) is seeking a qualified Pharmaceutical Officer to join its Cairo team. This role is essential in strengthening the medical supply chain, regulatory systems, and access to quality-assured medical products in alignment with national health priorities and WHO guidelines.

📍 Cairo, Egypt
Remuneration:
💰 Annual base salary starting at USD 39,228 + 30 days of annual leave
Key Responsibilities:
💊 Contribute to the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of medical supply chain activities and stock management.
⚖ Provide technical support to strengthen regulatory systems of medical products and ensure good regulatory practices.
🏥 Collaborate with WHO and Ministry of Health teams on quality control, assurance systems, and warehouse management including cold storage.
📈 Develop and update the national essential medicines list.
🛠 Recommend improvements for medical device management in healthcare facilities.
📝 Coordinate publishing and dissemination of technical guidelines, reports, and best practice documents.
Required Qualifications:
🎓 Essential: University degree in Pharmacy
🎓 Desirable: Master’s Degree in Public Health
📊 Minimum 2 years’ experience managing pharmaceutical products
🌐 Technical knowledge of WHO Programme on Essential Medicines and Health Technologies
📑 Proficiency in Microsoft Office and report writing
🗣 Expert knowledge of English and Arabic
