📍 Location: Cairo, Egypt
bioMérieux, a global leader in in vitro diagnostics, is seeking an Egypt Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, inventory, and distribution. Join a family-owned global company with a human-centered culture and long-term vision.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution operations
Develop and implement supply chain strategies ensuring product availability, cost efficiency, and compliance
Collaborate with Finance, Quality, Regulatory, and Commercial teams
Manage supplier relationships, performance, and risk mitigation
Prepare forecasts, participate in S&OP processes, and optimize distributor inventory
Control secondary network logistics (warehousing and transportation) and roll out CAPEX
Lead and monitor team performance, define objectives, methods, and skill development
Manage new ERP (SAP) implementation
Qualifications & Experience:
Master’s degree in Supply Chain or Engineering, or Bachelor’s with relevant experience
Minimum 10 years experience in supply chain management, preferably in IVD, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals
Proven SAP/ERP implementation experience
Strong expertise in demand management, logistics, and negotiation
Leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Customer- and business-oriented with a sense of ownership and adaptability
