Job Opportunity – NOV (Oil & Gas)
NOV is seeking an experienced Materials Manager to lead materials management and procurement operations in Ras Al Khair, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on efficiency, cost control, inventory optimization, and compliance with HSE and quality standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and execute materials management strategies aligned with organizational goals
Manage procurement for direct and indirect materials, including supplier negotiations and PO execution
Oversee material receipt, storage, and distribution to ensure accuracy and availability
Monitor inventory levels to maintain optimal stock and minimize excess
Prepare and manage budgets and forecasts in coordination with management
Maintain records of procurement activities, vendor performance, and material usage
Utilize ERP systems to process purchasing signals and ensure data integrity
Collaborate with global and local supply chain teams to align with sourcing strategies
Supervise, train, and develop subordinates with regular performance feedback
Ensure full compliance with HSE and quality standards
Education & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Experience Required:
5–8 years of experience in materials management or procurement
Oil & Gas sector experience preferred
Minimum 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role preferred
Key Skills:
Strong supply chain and inventory management knowledge
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office
Forecasting, budgeting, and cost-control expertise
Strong analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills
