Why Hiring is looking for a Junior Data Scientist to support data-driven decision-making through statistical analysis, machine learning, predictive modeling, and data engineering initiatives.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
• Perform statistical analysis and data exploration on complex datasets
• Support development and validation of predictive models
• Contribute to AI and Machine Learning solutions
• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover insights
• Build and maintain data pipelines and data workflows
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Engineers, and cross-functional teams
• Develop automation scripts and tools to improve efficiency
• Improve data quality, accessibility, and structure
• Analyze structured and unstructured datasets
• Support business and operational decision-making processes
• Identify data gaps and optimization opportunities
• Participate in technical discussions and knowledge-sharing initiatives
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
• 0–2 years of experience in Data Science, Analytics, AI, ML, or related fields
• Strong Python, R, SQL, or similar programming skills
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization tools
• Good understanding of statistics and predictive modeling
• Knowledge of Machine Learning and AI concepts
• Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with cloud and big data technologies
• Ability to communicate technical insights to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience handling structured and unstructured datasets
➕ Preferred:
• Knowledge of data engineering and ETL processes
• Experience with cloud platforms and analytics environments
• Understanding of intelligence analysis and operational analytics
