Job Description:
🚨 We're Hiring | Supply Chain Director | New Cairo, Egypt
🏢 Grifols Egypt for Plasma Derivatives (GEPD) is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Director to lead end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, supplier development, and distribution strategies.
📍 Location: New Cairo, Egypt
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
• Lead purchasing, logistics, warehousing, and inventory control functions
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives
• Select vendors and lead major contract negotiations
• Drive continuous improvement, Lean/Kaizen initiatives, and cost optimization projects
• Oversee SAP implementation and maximize ERP utilization
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and procurement standards
• Manage supply chain risks and business continuity plans
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Legal, Manufacturing, Sales, and Operations teams
• Develop and manage departmental budgets and performance KPIs
Job Requirements:
✅ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Business, or related field
✅ MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree is a plus
✅ 12+ years of operations/production experience
✅ Minimum 5 years in strategic sourcing or procurement leadership roles
✅ Minimum 5 years managing multidisciplinary teams
✅ Strong knowledge of MRP systems
✅ SAP experience preferred
✅ Pharmaceutical industry experience is a strong advantage
✅ Excellent English and Arabic communication skills
💻 Technical Skills:
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
• ERP systems experience (SAP preferred)
• Financial analysis and strategic planning capabilities
