🎯 Role Overview – Inventory Control Specialist (Cairo)

The Inventory Control Specialist monitors and optimizes inventory processes for both finished goods and ingredients. You will analyze stock metrics, lead stock review meetings, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to minimize financial impact and obsolescence.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

Monitor Finished Goods WOS weekly; analyze top 10 SKUs per MRP controller with corrective actions

Review Ingredients AOS monthly and align with inventory policies

Report plant WOS results with trends, narratives, and corrective actions

Track missing AOS information in SAP and follow up with stakeholders

Lead weekly Age of Stock meetings; summarize risks and agree on mitigation actions with Finance, CRM, Planning, and MM teams

Maintain MRB routines, monitor plant inventory losses, and ensure proper follow-up with relevant departments

Identify finished products at risk (<50% shelf life) to prevent obsolescence and financial loss

Prepare lists of materials ready for destruction and ensure proper approvals and reporting

Manage write-offs of nonconforming items after process verification

🎓 Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Business, Economics, Engineering, or Supply Chain

1-3 years of relevant supply chain experience (preferably in food manufacturing)

SAP experience preferred

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills
