Position Summary

As the Manager of Demand & Supply Planning, you will oversee the supply network of the assigned business area, ensuring each dispatch point is replenished efficiently to meet customer service targets while minimizing distribution costs.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Planning: Analyze supply plans and net dispatch requirements to satisfy customer needs, considering network complexity and supply constraints.

Load Planning: Optimize mixed loads while accounting for transportation constraints.

Inventory Management: Balance product availability with cost minimization to maintain optimal stock levels.

Exceptions Management: Analyze deviations, take business decisions, and adjust planning results accordingly.

Production Planning: Establish short- and long-term production requirements and follow up on plans.

Stock Policy: Define finished goods stock policies for domestic and inter-market supply. Review stock levels and proactively address deviations.

Process Improvement: Identify key issues with volume variance, challenge logistics and supply planning processes, and implement improvements to drive efficiency.

Communication: Highlight supply issues, trade-offs, and actionable insights to relevant teams.

Collaboration: Work with Demand Planners, Manufacturing, and IMS teams to improve forecast accuracy and inventory management.

Requirements

4–6 years of relevant operations experience in:

Factories, Production, Foreign Trade

IMS Factory Logistics

Other Demand & Supply Planning positions

Operations Improvement Team (OIT) experience a plus

Exposure to Data Analytics or Optimization is advantageous.
