About the Role
We are looking for a Logistics Specialist with fluent English skills to join our team in Qesm El Maadi, Cairo. This role focuses on optimizing trailer loads, coordinating warehouse operations, and ensuring compliance with safety and transport regulations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Load Planning & Optimization
Plan and build trailer loads according to shipment requirements, weight limits, and route schedules.
Optimize trailer cube and weight distribution to maximize efficiency and reduce transportation costs.
Determine correct loading sequences for smooth unloading at destinations.
2. Coordination & Communication
Work closely with warehouse pickers, forklift operators, and dispatchers to ensure timely and accurate loading.
Clearly communicate load plans and special handling instructions.
Adapt to last-minute changes based on customer or transportation updates.
3. Safety & Compliance
Ensure loads comply with DOT regulations, company safety policies, and weight restrictions.
Verify stability and securement of all freight before departure.
Identify and report damaged, unsafe, or noncompliant freight.
Qualifications
Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
Experience in load planning, logistics, or supply chain operations preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of safety regulations and freight securement practices.
