🚚 Logistics Specialist – Elsewedy Electric Power Systems Projects
📍 Location: New Cairo, Cairo, Egypt
Elsewedy Electric is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support project execution by managing the movement, storage, and delivery of materials and equipment for PSP projects. The role ensures timely, cost-effective, and compliant logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments for project sites, including customs clearance and documentation
Manage transportation planning for heavy equipment and project materials
Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams for on-time delivery
Prepare and review shipping documents (packing lists, invoices, certificates of origin)
Track shipments and provide status updates to project teams
Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations
Support cost optimization initiatives in logistics operations
Handle logistics-related issues and resolve delays proactively
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
2–4 years experience in logistics, preferably in EPC & Oil and Gas projects
Knowledge of Incoterms, customs regulations, and international shipping
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP is a plus)
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
