Naval Group Egypt is hiring a Procurement Engineer to support marine engineering, shipbuilding, and maintenance operations by managing procurement activities, supplier relationships, and sourcing strategies.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
• Procure materials, equipment, and services for marine engineering and shipbuilding projects
• Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to understand specifications and requirements
• Issue RFQs to approved suppliers and vendors
• Conduct supplier sourcing, market research, and vendor evaluations
• Analyze quotations and supplier proposals
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and procurement conditions
• Prepare business case justifications and procurement recommendations
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and contract compliance
• Coordinate between technical teams and suppliers
• Manage supplier relationships and resolve commercial issues
• Support supplier assessments, audits, and cost reduction initiatives
• Ensure compliance with company policies, maritime regulations, and classification society standards
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• 1–3 years of relevant procurement experience
• Alexandria resident
• Very good command of written and spoken English
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management
• Ability to work with technical specifications and engineering requirements
