Job Description:
🔐 **Information Security Officer – Citi - Egypt**
**Citi** is hiring an **Information Security Officer** to lead cybersecurity activities and support information security, risk, controls, and regulatory engagements in Egypt.

### 🔎 Key Responsibilities
🔹 Act as an **Information Security SME** for senior stakeholders and teams
🔹 Lead **cyber issue management, monitoring, and regulatory engagement**
🔹 Coordinate with First, Second, and Third Lines of Defense
🔹 Support internal and external cybersecurity reviews and examinations
🔹 Identify control deficiencies, root causes, and required remediation plans
🔹 Oversee issue remediation and escalate delays or risks when needed
🔹 Validate remediation documentation and ensure issues are properly closed
🔹 Support cybersecurity regulatory obligations in **Egypt and beyond**
🔹 Partner with Compliance and CISO teams on regulatory requirements
🔹 Identify opportunities to improve cybersecurity processes, standards, and controls
🔹 Mentor and coach team members
Job Requirements:
✔️ **10+ years** of relevant Information Security / Cybersecurity experience
✔️ Strong ability to interpret and apply **policies, standards, and procedures**
✔️ Proven experience in **risk, controls, issue management, and remediation**
✔️ Strong analytical, communication, influencing, and relationship-management skills
✔️ Ability to work independently with limited supervision
✔️ Fluent **English**; Arabic is a plus
✔️ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
✔️ At least one active international Information Security certification such as **CISSP, CISM, CRISC, C-CISO, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer**
