Blu EV — the e-mobility subsidiary of Orascom Investment Holding — is redefining urban mobility through its innovative Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) platform. As the company scales across multiple cities and countries, we are hiring an exceptional Head of Operations to lead the full operational organization and ensure world-class reliability, performance, and scalability.

Role Overview

The Head of Operations oversees all field operations, supply chain, product quality, after-sales, asset readiness, and OEM alignment — ensuring that Blu EV’s fleet, batteries, stations, and hardware operate at maximum uptime and optimum cost.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Leadership & Strategy

Build and lead operations teams across field, product, and supply chain.

Translate company strategy into executable operational plans.

Establish SOPs, operational standards, and performance KPIs.

Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, and scalability for future markets.

Support strategic planning and market expansion readiness.

2. Field Operations Management

Ensure high network uptime, station reliability, and stable battery circulation.

Monitor swap station performance, availability, and response times.

Lead field teams, routing, dispatch, and on-ground operations.

Implement real-time dashboards and operational monitoring systems.

Optimize manpower and cost per asset.

3. Product Quality, Warranty & OEM Management

Oversee product quality control, RCA processes, and performance analysis.

Manage warranty cycles and feedback loops with OEMs.

Align specifications and hardware requirements with engineering teams.

Ensure manufacturers meet Blu EV standards and requirements.

4. Supply Chain & Inventory Management

Own procurement, forecasting, spare parts planning, and logistics flows.

Ensure availability and lifecycle management of all assets.

Manage cost control across procurement and warehousing.

Build data-driven inventory and stock systems.

5. Cross-Functional Alignment

Act as the central operational link between engineering, hardware, finance, commercial, and OEM partners.

Support product launches and new market entries with operational readiness plans.

Qualifications

10+ years in operations leadership in EV, mobility, automotive, or logistics.

Strong experience managing distributed technical/field teams.

Deep knowledge of supply chain, quality, and OEM coordination.

Strong analytical mindset and KPI-driven decision-making.

Proven ability to scale operations in high-growth environments.
