onebank is looking for a **Credit Officer** to assess and evaluate credit applications while supporting responsible business growth and maintaining portfolio quality.
### 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze credit applications, customer information and financial capacity
• Review credit history and supporting documentation
• Assess applications according to approved credit policies and underwriting criteria
• Ensure accurate, consistent and timely credit decisions
• Maintain strong portfolio quality and support effective risk management
• Handle high-volume credit applications while meeting required turnaround times
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in **Accounting, Finance** or a related field
• **2–4 years** of relevant experience in Credit Underwriting, Credit Assessment, Consumer Finance, Banking or Financial Services
• Strong knowledge of credit assessment and underwriting principles
• Good understanding of credit policies, lending criteria and risk management
• Knowledge of lending products and processes
• Good Microsoft Office skills, especially **Excel**
• Experience with **LOS, credit scoring or automated credit decisioning systems** is preferred
• High attention to accuracy and ability to work within deadlines
