Job Description:

### Experience
🔹 **Administrator:** 0–2 years in Backup & Storage System Administration
🔹 **Senior Administrator:** 2–5 years in Backup & Storage System Administration
### Key Responsibilities
🔹 Monitor **Storage & Backup infrastructure** to maintain system uptime and stability
🔹 Provide technical and higher-level support to Service Desk and Desktop Support teams
🔹 Work closely with infrastructure teams to deploy new services and troubleshoot technical issues
🔹 Participate in infrastructure requirements definition and **capacity planning**
🔹 Maintain availability and troubleshoot the Bank’s production environment
🔹 Handle multiple tasks while maintaining quality and delivery standards
🔹 Support technology implementation and selection decisions
🔹 Continuously develop technical knowledge through self-learning
Job Requirements:
✅ Detailed knowledge of **Backup methods and media types**
✅ Strong knowledge of **Veritas NetBackup** or similar enterprise backup solutions
✅ Monitor backup jobs, execute restores, troubleshoot failures, and take corrective action
✅ Configure backup policies for new backup clients
✅ Perform standard and test restores for **files, folders, databases & VMs**
✅ Understanding of **SAN concepts** including LUNs, zoning, HBAs & WWNs
✅ Experience monitoring SAN storage such as **VMAX, PowerStore, RecoverPoint & VPLEX**
✅ Experience with **SAN Switches**
✅ Ability to create and mask new storage volumes
✅ Experience working with equipment and services in **remote lights-out Data Centers**
### Qualifications
🎓 Bachelor’s degree in **IT** or equivalent qualification/experience
💡 Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
💡 Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
💡 Strong technical learning and self-development mindset
