🤖 **Research Engineer – Code Generation & Model Evaluation - Remote - $50 – $100/hour** 💰 **Pay:** $50 – $100/hour 💼 **Type:** Contractor 🌍 **Location:** Remote 🚀 **Start:** Within 24–48 hours after onboarding micro1 is looking for **Research Engineers** to help train and evaluate next-generation AI systems through real-world coding tasks. **No prior AI experience is required — your coding expertise is what matters.** ### What You’ll Do 🔹 Analyze, debug, and resolve issues across diverse codebases 🔹 Build and review new features for code-generation workflows 🔹 Refactor and optimize code for performance and maintainability 🔹 Create and evaluate real-world coding tasks for AI models 🔹 Provide clear feedback and annotations for model training 🔹 Collaborate with open-source contributors and technical stakeholders 🔹 Document technical decisions, best practices, and solutions

Job Requirements:
