Job Description:
💼 **Intern Accountant – Accounts Payable (Trade) - MAGRABi Retail Group**
**MAGRABi Retail Group** is hiring an **Intern Accountant – Accounts Payable (Trade)** to support trade vendor invoice processing, supplier reconciliations, payments, and AP reporting in New Cairo.

### 🔎 Key Responsibilities
🔹 Review trade vendor invoices and match them with **purchase orders and goods received notes (GRNs)**
🔹 Enter verified invoices with the correct vendor, inventory/GL account, branch, cost center, and VAT code
🔹 Identify invoice discrepancies, missing GRNs, duplicate invoices, and price/quantity variances
🔹 Coordinate with Procurement, Warehouse/Supply Chain, and suppliers to resolve issues
🔹 Reconcile supplier statements with the **AP sub-ledger** and follow up on open items
🔹 Assist with payment proposals and supporting documentation for Treasury
🔹 Record supplier **credit/debit notes** for returns, rebates, and price adjustments
🔹 Support **GRNI accruals, AP aging reports, and AP-to-GL reconciliations**
🔹 Maintain accurate invoice and payment records for audit and internal control purposes
Job Requirements:
✔️ Bachelor’s Degree in **Accounting, Finance, or Commerce**
✔️ Recent graduate or **final-year student**
✔️ Basic understanding of **double-entry accounting, accruals, and the AP cycle**
✔️ Good **MS Office & Microsoft Excel** skills, including lookups, pivot tables, and basic formulas
✔️ **0–1 year** experience; no prior full-time experience required
➕ Previous accounting/finance internship or summer training is an advantage
➕ Exposure to **Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or another ERP** is preferred
➕ Interest in **CMA, CPA, ACCA, or SOCPA** is an advantage
