Job Description:
🛳️ **Purchasing Manager – Mandarin Cruise Line**
**Mandarin Cruise Line**, operator of The Grand Mandarin and The Royal Mandarin, is hiring a Purchasing Manager to oversee procurement activities supporting its premium Nile cruise operations between Luxor and Aswan.

### 🔎 Key Responsibilities
🔹 Oversee purchasing and procurement of supplies, equipment, and services for cruise operations
🔹 Source suppliers, evaluate quotations, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong vendor relationships
🔹 Ensure purchasing needs are fulfilled with the right quality, cost, and delivery timelines
🔹 Coordinate with Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Operations teams
🔹 Monitor inventory levels and forecast purchasing requirements
🔹 Maintain accurate purchasing records and ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations
🔹 Evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for improvement
🔹 Analyze spending patterns and support budget planning and cost-control initiatives
🔹 Implement purchasing best practices and improve procurement efficiency
🔹 Visit operational locations, including ports and vessels, as required
Job Requirements:
✔️ Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field
✔️ **4+ years of hospitality experience**
✔️ **3+ years of purchasing experience**
✔️ Experience with group purchasing
✔️ Proven procurement experience in cruise lines, luxury hotels, resorts, or large-scale hospitality operations
✔️ Strong supplier sourcing, relationship management, and contract negotiation skills
✔️ Knowledge of hospitality inventory management, F&B and housekeeping demand forecasting, and cost control
✔️ Proficiency in purchasing systems, ERP or inventory management software, and MS Office tools
✔️ Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and coordination skills
✔️ Familiarity with Egyptian suppliers and regional hospitality markets is an advantage
✔️ Ability to work on-site in Cairo and visit operational locations as needed
