Job Description:
📑 Statutory Financial Statements & Audit
• Manage annual statutory financial statements for 6 entities
• Prepare consolidated financial statements & elimination entries (quarterly)
• Prepare IFRS group reporting packs
• Supervise monthly board reporting (TBs, disclosures, eliminations)
• Lead interim & year-end external audits
• Ensure compliance with Egyptian GAAP & IFRS
• Implement audit recommendations and action plans
• Analyze general ledger and statutory disclosures
🏗 Fixed Assets & Intangibles
• Manage capitalization, depreciation, impairments & disposals
• Oversee WIP capitalization and transfers
• Manage intangible assets lifecycle
• Lead fixed assets counts & reconciliations
• Prepare fixed assets & intangibles disclosures
Job Requirements:
📘 General Ledger & Month-End Close
• Lead month-end close activities
• Ensure accuracy of trial balances & balance sheet analysis
• Manage payroll reconciliations & accruals
• Handle foreign currency revaluation & analysis
• Ensure accurate GL posting and classification
• Support internal & group audits
• Supervise petty cash controls
👥 Leadership & Governance
• Manage and coach a team of 2 accountants
• Set objectives aligned with accounting strategy
• Maintain GL, bank & fixed assets procedures
• Apply anti-corruption, antitrust & integrity policies
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies and risk mitigation
🔹 Ideal Profile
• Strong experience in General Ledger & IFRS reporting
• Proven exposure to multi-entity consolidation
• Solid audit management background
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
• High attention to detail and compliance
