Job Description:
📢 Cisco Networking Academy is hiring a Full Stack Golang Engineer to join a global US-based engineering team working on scalable digital learning platforms.
🔹 Role Overview:
You will design and develop scalable microservices and full-stack applications using Golang, contributing to the evolution of global learning systems used by thousands of learners worldwide.
🔹 Responsibilities:
• Build RESTful & gRPC microservices using Go (Golang)
• Design system architecture for distributed applications
• Integrate SQL & NoSQL databases
• Develop event-driven systems (Kafka / RabbitMQ)
• Optimize performance, scalability, and system reliability
• Deploy using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and system improvements
• Optional frontend development (React / Angular / Vue)
Job Requirements:
• Strong experience in Software & Full Stack Development
• Hands-on experience with Golang (Go)
• Experience in backend APIs, microservices, and system design
• Knowledge of frontend basics (HTML, CSS, UI integration)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Familiar with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
🎯 Nice to Have:
• Experience in EdTech or large-scale learning platforms
