Suez Canal Bank is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Head to lead the AP function, ensure financial accuracy, strengthen internal controls, and drive efficiency across all supplier and payment operations.
🔹 Job Purpose:
Lead the Accounts Payable function to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant processing of invoices, supplier payments, and expense claims while optimizing workflows and maintaining strong financial governance.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee full Accounts Payable cycle from invoice processing to payment execution
• Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP, tax regulations, and internal audit requirements
• Supervise AP team, assign tasks, and support training and performance development
• Review and approve payment runs aligned with cash flow planning
• Maintain accurate vendor master data and prevent duplication or fraud
• Resolve vendor disputes and escalations efficiently
• Monitor AP KPIs including payment cycle time and overdue liabilities
• Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to improve workflows and controls
• Lead automation and process improvement initiatives
• Prepare AP reports including aging analysis, accruals, and cash flow impact
• Support internal and external audit processes
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification (CPA / CMA / ACCA) preferred
• Strong experience in Accounts Payable and financial operations
• Banking or financial industry experience is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Dynamics)
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Very good command of MS Excel and reporting tools
• Good command of English & Arabic
