Mashreq is looking for an experienced Cards Operations Manager to lead card maintenance operations, risk controls, fraud mitigation, and operational excellence initiatives. This role is ideal for banking operations professionals with strong leadership capabilities and deep expertise in card operations, process improvement, compliance, and project implementation.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
• Manage operational infrastructure, policies, and processes related to post-booking card maintenance activities.
• Minimize operational losses through effective controls and risk management practices.
• Lead and supervise the Cards Maintenance team, ensuring high levels of efficiency and accuracy.
• Conduct and oversee UAT testing for card projects, URFs, and Statements of Work (SOWs).
• Monitor fraud exposure, operational risks, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Review and improve cards operations processes to strengthen controls and preventive measures.
• Evaluate CMS performance and recommend process and system enhancements.
• Support implementation of new technologies and changing compliance requirements.
• Drive operational efficiency through automation initiatives and outsourcing opportunities.
• Support new sales channels and ensure smooth operation of card products in line with CBE regulations.
Job Requirements:
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Operations, preferably within banking or card services.
• Strong management and team leadership skills.
• Knowledge of fraud prevention and risk management techniques.
• Experience in card operations, maintenance, and operational controls.
• Strong analytical and investigation capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
⭐ Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Cards Management Systems (CMS).
• Knowledge of product accounting cycles and financial entries.
• Background in cards projects, UAT testing, and process optimization.
• Familiarity with Central Bank regulations and electronic payments industry standards.
