A leading steel fabrication and structural steel company in the Middle East is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead transportation, shipping, import/export, and distribution operations. This role is ideal for logistics leaders with extensive experience in industrial, manufacturing, construction, or steel fabrication environments.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
• Manage inbound and outbound logistics operations across local and international markets
• Coordinate transportation of oversized steel structures and fabricated components
• Develop logistics strategies to optimize costs while maintaining service excellence
• Oversee freight forwarding, customs clearance, and export documentation processes
• Coordinate deliveries with project and site teams to meet construction schedules
• Negotiate contracts and service agreements with logistics providers and carriers
• Ensure compliance with local and international transportation regulations
• Monitor logistics KPIs, delivery performance, and operational efficiency
• Lead logistics process improvement and cost optimization initiatives
• Manage relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transportation partners
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Minimum 15 years of experience in logistics management
• Proven experience within steel fabrication, manufacturing, construction, or industrial sectors
• Strong knowledge of transportation planning, customs clearance, and freight management
• Experience managing complex domestic and international logistics operations
• Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Strong leadership and team management experience
