Job Description:
Palm Outsourcing is hiring on behalf of an international client seeking an experienced Senior Supply Chain Manager to oversee end-to-end supply chain operations during a maternity cover period.
This is a senior-level, fully remote role with ownership of supplier relationships, production planning, procurement operations, compliance, and delivery performance across multiple product categories.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Manage Tier 1 & Tier 2 supplier relationships and annual commercial negotiations.
✅ Own and manage the annual manufacturing and buying calendar.
✅ Lead weekly production meetings and ensure purchase orders remain on track.
✅ Drive critical path management and on-time delivery performance.
✅ Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and cost-saving opportunities.
✅ Oversee packaging compliance, product testing, labeling, and quality control processes.
✅ Manage ERP systems and supply chain workflows.
✅ Coach and support junior supply chain team members.
✅ Act as the key link between Asia-based factories and UK-based internal teams.
Job Requirements:
✔ 5+ years of Supply Chain Management experience.
✔ Strong background in consumer goods, apparel, fashion, or seasonal products.
✔ Proven experience managing Asia-based manufacturers and suppliers.
✔ Expertise in end-to-end Purchase Order management.
✔ Advanced Excel and ERP system experience.
✔ Strong commercial, negotiation, and cost-management skills.
✔ Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
✔ Ability to work independently and manage complex supply chain operations.
Preferred:
