📍 **Location:** 10th of Ramadan, Sharkia, Egypt

Guardian Industries is hiring an experienced **AME Customs Manager** to lead customs and trade compliance activities across the **Africa & Middle East (AME) region**.
🔹 **What You'll Do:**
• Ensure compliance with customs, import, export, and international trade regulations across AME
• Lead and develop the customs team
• Oversee customs clearance and handle complex cases, delays, inspections, and disputes
• Ensure accurate tariff classification, customs valuation, country of origin, and documentation
• Monitor regulatory changes and implement updated procedures and controls
• Develop regional customs policies, SOPs, and compliance controls
• Manage relationships with customs brokers, freight forwarders, consultants, and customs authorities
• Monitor service-provider performance, costs, lead times, and compliance
• Identify opportunities to optimize duties and customs costs
• Support customs audits, investigations, and corrective actions
• Provide customs guidance for products, suppliers, customers, routes, and contracts
• Deliver customs training to Logistics and Supply Chain teams
• Drive standardization, digitalization, and continuous improvement across the region
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in **International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance**, or related field
• Strong experience in **Customs, Import/Export, International Trade, or Trade Compliance**
• Previous senior customs or regional coordination experience
• Strong knowledge of:
▪️ Tariff Classification
▪️ Customs Valuation
▪️ Rules of Origin
▪️ Free Trade Agreements
▪️ Customs Documentation
▪️ Special Customs Procedures
• Experience dealing with customs authorities, brokers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers
• Experience with customs audits, disputes, and compliance reviews
• Strong analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills
• Fluent written and spoken **English**
• Arabic is an advantage
⭐ **Preferred:**
• SAP / ERP / customs compliance tools
• Experience managing customs operations across multiple African and Middle Eastern countries
• Willingness to travel across the AME region
