Nalco Water, an Ecolab company, is looking for a **Procurement Representative – Direct Materials** to lead procurement operations and strategic sourcing initiatives across **Egypt & North Africa**.
💰 The role manages an annual spend of approximately **$15M** while driving cost savings, working capital improvements, and supply continuity.
🔹 **Key Responsibilities:**
• Manage and negotiate direct materials including raw materials, packaging, and toll/contract manufacturing
• Lead sourcing and productivity initiatives aligned with business targets
• Drive cost savings and working capital improvements
• Optimize payment terms and inventory in collaboration with Supply Planning
• Manage supplier performance across quality, service, cost, and responsiveness
• Identify and qualify alternative suppliers to strengthen supply resilience
• Lead end-to-end contracting and ensure proper documentation
• Support e-auctions and sourcing tools as a subject matter expert
• Implement global sourcing strategies locally
• Manage savings, risk, and working-capital reporting
• Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders on sourcing priorities and market insights
• Support supplier quality improvements and corrective actions
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• **4–5 years** of experience in Procurement, Sourcing, or Supply Chain
• Strong procurement and supplier-management knowledge
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Fluent **English**
• Proficiency in **MS Office and ERP / Procurement systems**
⭐ **Preferred:**
• Chemistry, Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering degree
• FMCG or Chemical industry experience
• Total Cost / Total Delivered Cost sourcing experience
• Regional or global procurement experience
• **French** is an advantage
