The Learning Mate is looking for a creative **Motion Graphic Designer** with strong video-editing skills who can turn ideas, product experiences, and marketing messages into engaging visual stories.
The focus isn't on using the most effects — it's about making the message **clear, engaging, and memorable.**
### 🎬 What You'll Do
• Create motion graphics and animated videos for social media, digital campaigns, and product marketing
• Turn marketing concepts, briefs, and scripts into compelling visual stories
• Handle video editing, including cutting, sequencing, captions, music, and sound effects
• Combine live footage, screen recordings, motion graphics, typography, illustrations, and product UI
• Animate product/UI experiences to showcase features and workflows
• Create short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and paid advertising
• Develop creative assets for feature launches, tutorials, promotional campaigns, and performance ads
• Use AI and emerging creative tools to improve speed, quality, and creative possibilities
Job Requirements:
• Strong portfolio demonstrating **motion design, animation, visual storytelling, and video editing**
• Strong experience with professional motion design and video-editing tools
• Solid understanding of animation principles, timing, easing, composition, typography, and visual hierarchy
• Good video-editing fundamentals: pacing, cuts, audio, captions, and transitions
• Ability to transform a brief into a simple and engaging visual concept
• Strong understanding of modern digital and social-media content
• Experience working with product/UI footage and software experiences
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of creative direction
• Ability to balance quality and speed in a fast-moving startup environment
• Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating quickly
• Interest in AI and emerging creative tools
