**Mercor** is collaborating with a leading AI lab to engage experienced **Corporate & Controllership Accountants** to help train AI models using real-world accounting expertise.
### What You’ll Do
🔹 Design realistic accounting scenarios based on your controllership experience
🔹 Prepare scenarios involving **financial statements, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close**
🔹 Work with **fixed assets, depreciation, accruals, and prepaids**
🔹 Review and compare AI-generated accounting outputs for **accuracy and GAAP compliance**
🔹 Evaluate professional accounting judgment and identify errors
🔹 Provide clear written feedback to improve AI performance
🔹 Collaborate asynchronously with the AI research team

📊 Financial Accounting & Reporting
📚 Bookkeeping / Client Accounting Services (CAS)
💳 Accounting Operations — **AP / AR / Payroll**
Job Requirements:
✅ **CPA OR 3–5+ years** of corporate/in-house or accounting firm experience
✅ Hands-on ownership of the **General Ledger & period-end close**
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
✅ Experience with accounting tools such as **QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle & Excel**
✅ Strong written communication and exceptional attention to detail
