🧪 **QA Engineer – Remote - $90–$175/hour** 💰 **Pay:** $90–$175/hour 💼 **Type:** Contractor 🌍 **Work Model:** Fully Remote 🤖 **Focus:** QA | Software Testing | AI Evaluation ### About the Role **micro1** is engaging **QA Engineers** for a high-volume customer project focused on software quality evaluation and training next-generation AI systems. 🎯 **No prior AI experience is required — your QA expertise is what matters.** ⚠️ **Critical Requirement:** Candidates must have **prior paid Human Data experience supporting AI training**, such as: • Data Annotation / Labeling • RLHF • AI Response Evaluation • Model Output Evaluation • Rubric-Based Grading ❌ **Software QA experience alone does NOT fulfill this requirement.** ### What You’ll Do 🔹 Evaluate and rate AI-generated technical outputs against defined quality criteria 🔹 Identify outputs that appear correct but contain inaccuracies or missing information 🔹 Design and assess comprehensive **functional, regression, negative, boundary & edge-case tests** 🔹 Review bug reports and test documentation for reproducibility, completeness, and severity 🔹 Identify, isolate, and document defects with precise reproduction steps 🔹 Use structured bug-tracking mechanisms 🔹 Provide detailed, actionable written feedback and annotations 🔹 Collaborate with project teams to improve evaluation guidelines and testing methodologies

Job Requirements:

✅ Professional experience as a **QA Engineer, SDET, Test Engineer, QA Analyst**, or similar ✅ Strong QA fundamentals: test case design, bug tracking, regression testing, manual & automated testing 🤖 **Prior paid Human Data / AI Evaluation experience — REQUIRED** 🔧 Experience with automation & test management tools 🧠 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 🔎 Meticulous attention to detail 🇬🇧 Strong written English — **B2+** 🎓 **No formal degree required** — demonstrable testing experience matters most 🌐 Reliable internet connection ⚡ Ready to start promptly ### Tools & Technologies 🧪 **Selenium | Playwright | Cypress | Appium | Postman** 📋 **Jira | TestRail | Zephyr | BrowserStack** ➕ Similar QA automation and test management tools are welcome. 🚀 **$90–$175/hr | Remote Contractor | QA + AI Training**
