**SME Careers** is looking for an **Arabic Quality Assurance Lead (QAL)** to oversee quality, consistency, and trainer performance across Arabic AI training projects.
⚠️ **Important:** There is no immediate project for this role. Qualified candidates will be among the first experts contacted when relevant projects become available, with access to future opportunities through the expert network.
🔹 **Key Responsibilities:**
• Review AI-generated Arabic content and trainer/QA work
• Monitor quality, accuracy, grammar, spelling, tone, and cultural appropriateness
• Provide precise feedback and identify recurring quality issues
• Communicate project updates and guidelines to trainers and QAs
• Handle Arabic language and quality-related questions
• Support trainer/QA onboarding and training
• Maintain style guides, FAQs, trackers, and quality documentation
• Monitor contributor activity and follow up on inactive contributors
• Identify quality gaps and improve scalable QA processes
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in **Arabic, Linguistics, Translation, Communications, Journalism, English, Education, QA**, or a related field
• Native or near-native Arabic proficiency
• Strong English communication skills
• **3+ years** in Arabic writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, education, annotation, or related work
• Strong knowledge of Arabic grammar, spelling, punctuation, RTL formatting, tone, register, MSA, and regional Arabic variations
• Ability to evaluate content using detailed quality rubrics
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
• Experience leading or supporting remote teams is strongly preferred
