### About the Role
micro1 is looking for **music transcription experts** to support an AI training project focused on **polyphonic audio analysis, SATB transcription, music notation, and Python**.
This is **not** a general audio-production or speech-transcription role. Strong musical listening, notation, and technical problem-solving skills are essential.
### What You’ll Do
🎼 Transcribe polyphonic recordings into structured musical notation
🎤 Separate **Soprano, Alto, Tenor & Bass (SATB)** lines from mono recordings
🎵 Identify pitches, durations, rests, onsets, and re-articulations
⏱️ Quantize musical events to the correct rhythmic grid
🎹 Apply accurate key signatures, accidentals, and enharmonic spelling
📄 Generate and manipulate **MusicXML** scores
🐍 Use Python for audio analysis and transcription workflows
🔍 Validate transcrip
Job Requirements:
🐍 Strong **Python** programming skills
👂 Advanced ear training and polyphonic transcription ability
🎼 Strong knowledge of harmony, rhythm, voice leading, and standard notation
🎶 Experience with **SATB music, choral arranging, score preparation**, or similar polyphonic transcription
