### About the Role
micro1 is looking for highly skilled **CAD and mechanical-design experts** to contribute to an AI training project focused on technical drawings, computational geometry, programmatic CAD, and Python.
⚠️ This is **not** a general hardware-support or electronics role. Strong CAD, spatial reasoning, geometry, and technical problem-solving skills are required.
### What You’ll Work On
📐 Interpret dimensions and geometric relationships from engineering drawings
🧩 Convert 2D schematics into accurate **3D mechanical models**
⚙️ Model curved profiles, sweeps, lofts, fillets, chamfers, and Boolean operations
🐍 Use **Python** to generate and automate CAD geometry
📦 Export watertight solid models in formats such as **STEP**
🔍 Validate dimensions, topology, volume, surface area, and inertia properties
🛠️ Diagnose and troubleshoot subtle CAD geometry differences
🔄 Produce reproducible technical solutions
Job Requirements:
🐍 Strong **Python** programming skills
📐 Hands-on experience with **3D CAD or computational geometry**
📊 Ability to interpret dimensioned engineering drawings and schematics
🧠 Strong 3D spatial reasoning and geometric precision
🔧 Experience validating and troubleshooting CAD models
