Emirates is hiring a **Senior Cargo Assistant** to support cargo operations, customer service, documentation, and operational coordination while ensuring compliance with Emirates standards and local regulations.
### **Key Responsibilities**
📦 Monitor and oversee cargo handling services provided by GHA.
✈️ Ensure compliance with build instructions, load control, safety, and flight handling requirements.
📋 Monitor import cargo receipt and breakdown and resolve operational issues.
📝 Prepare and verify accurate cargo documentation and monitor consignment status.
📊 Update flight handling reports and identify irregularities and discrepancies.
📨 Dispatch post-flight information to relevant departments.
📞 Handle cargo reservations, customer queries, complaints, and claims.
💻 Perform data entry, statistics, reporting, and other administrative duties.
🤝 Provide guidance and coaching to Cargo Agents.
⚙️ Provide operational support and cover duties as directed by the Cargo Supervisor/Officer.
Job Requirements:
✔ Minimum **3 years of experience** in an airline or cargo operations environment.
✔ At least **2 years of experience as a Cargo Agent or equivalent**.
✔ Knowledge of **Dangerous Goods (DG) regulations**; DG certification is an advantage.
✔ Knowledge of **Weight & Balance procedures** and Live Animal Regulations.
✔ Good Microsoft Word, Excel, and email skills.
✔ Fluency in **English and the local language** is essential.
✔ Legal right to live and work in Egypt.
