💻 Senior Software Engineer – LLM Evaluation & Repository Validation**
🌍 **Location:** Remote
💼 **Type:** Contractor
⏰ **Commitment:** 20 hours/week
📅 **Duration:** 3 months
🕐 **Schedule:** Some overlap with PST
Turing is looking for **Senior Software Engineers / Tech Lead-level professionals** to help build LLM evaluation and training datasets based on real-world software engineering problems and public GitHub repositories.
### What You’ll Do
🔹 Analyze and triage GitHub issues across popular open-source projects
🔹 Set up and configure repositories, including Docker and development environments
🔹 Evaluate unit test coverage and quality
🔹 Run and modify real codebases to assess LLM performance
🔹 Identify challenging software engineering tasks for LLM evaluation
🔹 Collaborate with AI researchers on dataset development
🔹 Potentially lead junior engineers on project activities
Job Requirements:
✅ Strong experience with at least one of: **Python, JavaScript, Java, Go, Rust, C/C++, C#, or Ruby**
✅ Proficiency with **Git & Docker**
✅ Ability to navigate complex codebases
✅ Comfortable running, modifying, and testing real-world software locally
✅ Experience with well-maintained, widely-used GitHub repositories
⭐ Open-source contribution or evaluation experience is a plus
⭐ LLM research/evaluation or developer automation experience is a plus
