Turing is looking for **Web Research Specialists** to help build evaluation benchmarks for frontier AI browsing agents.
This is **investigative research**, not a traditional content-writing or subject-matter-expert role.
### 🔎 What You’ll Do
• Design difficult, verifiable research questions for AI browsing agents
• Conduct deep open-web and investigative research
• Locate primary records, government databases, institutional archives, registries, and PDFs
• Build complete and auditable evidence trails
• Validate sources and document search results
• Identify dates, people, organizations, places, events, records, and quantities
• Evaluate AI-generated research and identify errors or weaknesses
Job Requirements:
• Master's degree **OR 3+ years of experience**
• Strong open-web and investigative research skills
• Experience locating primary sources and navigating institutional/government databases
• Excellent sourcing and documentation skills
• Native or near-native written English
• Ability to research unfamiliar subjects from scratch
• Experience with LLM evaluation, red-teaming, or benchmark construction
• Background in one or more areas such as:
* Investigative journalism / fact-checking
* OSINT / due diligence / KYC
* Archival or library research
* Patent / prior-art / legal discovery
* Genealogy and records research
* Competitive quizzing / puzzle-hunt construction
