### 🔎 About the Role
Arab Financial Services is looking for an **Operations Manager** to drive operational excellence across **payment operations, back-office activities, merchant onboarding, POS operations, and acquiring products**.
The role will work closely with **Acquiring, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and other stakeholders** while ensuring operational controls and applicable card-scheme and regulatory requirements are met.
### 🎯 Key Responsibilities
🔹 Oversee daily **payment operations**, including clearing, settlement, chargebacks, reconciliation, and fraud-related processes
🔹 Manage **POS operations**, including applications, functionality, profiles, key injection, TMC, inventory, and related activities
🔹 Lead **back-office operations**, merchant applications, documentation, and merchant onboarding
🔹 Support the end-to-end **implementation, testing, and launch of acquiring products**
🔹 Ensure compliance with local and international **card scheme regulations**, operational controls, data security, and regulatory requirements
🔹 Drive **process improvements, operational efficiency, and service quality**
🔹 Collaborate with Acquiring, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and other stakeholders
🔹 Lead and develop the **Operations team**, ensuring clear procedures, SLAs, and performance standards
Job Requirements:
✔️ **7+ years of Operations experience**, including relevant managerial experience
✔️ Strong background in **Payments, Card Processing, Acquiring, or FinTech**
✔️ Solid knowledge of **Clearing, Settlement, Chargebacks, Fraud Management & Reconciliation**
✔️ Strong understanding of **POS and Merchant Operations**
✔️ Experience with **Merchant Onboarding, Underwriting & Documentation**
✔️ Good understanding of **Card Schemes and Payment Regulations**
✔️ Bachelor's degree in **Business, Finance, or a related field**
✔️ Master's degree is a plus
✔️ Strong **leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills**
