micro1 is looking for experienced **Software Engineers / AI Engineers** to contribute to a project focused on training next-generation AI systems.
No previous AI experience is required — **your software engineering expertise is what matters.**
### 🔹 What You'll Do
• Create **Reinforcement Learning environments** that test AI agents on complex software engineering tasks.
• Build scenarios involving bug fixing, feature implementation, code refactoring, and performance optimization.
• Work with **Model Context Protocol (MCP)** tools and real MCP servers.
• Design reproducible environments and deterministic verification systems.
• Develop golden reference solutions to evaluate AI performance.
• Ensure tasks accurately measure both MCP tool usage and software engineering ability.
Job Requirements:
✅ Proficiency in **C++, Python, Java, Go, TypeScript, or Rust**
✅ Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures
✅ Experience with debugging complex software issues
✅ Strong feature development and codebase refactoring skills
✅ Experience optimizing software for performance and scalability
✅ Excellent written and verbal communication
✅ Strong attention to detail
✅ Ability to work effectively in collaborative/remote environments
